Raised floor production

A raised floor is a second floor level raised above the base, consisting of slabs of a specific size and thickness installed on metal studs. The slab material can vary, but chipboard and sulfate boards measuring 600x600 mm are commonly used. The slabs can be decorated with a variety of finishes, including metal, carpet, foil, special wear-resistant PVC, and so on. These materials are bonded using specialized polyurethane hot-melt adhesives, such as Kleiberit 706.1, or EVA dispersions, such as Kleiberit 445.5 and 464.3.

To protect the edges of the boards, PVC edging is used, which is glued with EVA hot melt adhesives, such as Kleiberit 788.7. To increase the moisture resistance of this connection, PUR hot melt adhesives, such as Kleiberit 707.6.40, can be used.
