2D lamination (lamination) is a process of decorating sheet materials with various decorative materials: PVC, PP and finishing films, veneer, CPL, acrylic or HPL plastics.
Adhesive materials can be applied both to sheet material using special equipment: glue rollers, spatulas, spray guns, hot rollers, and to film materials using slot nozzles.
For gluing veneer, paper films, CPL, dispersion adhesive materials based on PVA are used: Kleiberit 303.0, 300.0, 301.2, 303.2
For gluing PVC and PP films, EVA dispersions are used: Kleiberit 464.3, 464.5
If HPL plastics are used as a facing material, then Kleiberit 152.5 will be an ideal option, since it allows postforming (bending) the plastic at 180 0 C.
The ideal solution for gluing glossy materials facing is to use Kleiberit 706.1, 709.3, and 706.0 PUR hot melt adhesives. These adhesives do not contain solvents or water, so they have minimal impact on the wood substrate or facing material. PUR hot melt adhesives can be applied using hot rollers or special hot nozzles.
