Gluing solid wood components is becoming increasingly important due to the increasing consumer demand for products made from natural wood, as well as for companies located in areas rich in forest resources.

In the production of windows and doors from solid wood, as well as furniture panels, adhesive materials with maximum moisture resistance (D3 or D4 according to DIN/EN204) and temperature resistance (WATT 91) are particularly successful.

The following materials meet these requirements:

• Polyvinyl acetate dispersions (with and without hardener)
• Polyvinyl acetate dispersions based on copolymers (with hardener, or EPI systems )
• 1-K PUR adhesives
